Issue: Smooth 144Hz until a grenade blows up, then slideshow mode activates.
Fix:
-
Lower Particle Quality: Set to “Normal” in Graphics settings.

CPU Priority: Set
GTA5.exeto “High” in Task Manager > Details tab. -
Disable Nvidia Highlights: It’s secretly recording your shame.
