So a lot of people are seem to be getting black screen or gta logo screen hanging frozen at the start of GTA V (GTA Online). 

Here's the fix

- Go to the directory of your Steam/Epic (Typically in C:program files)

- Go to steamapps>common>Grand Theft Auto V 

- Right click on GTA V application and run as administrator or alternatively you can click at properties and go to compatibility tab and select 1. run in compatibility mode for windows 7 2. check disable full screen optimization 3. click apply

Remember to run as administrator.
